NHK to hold "AIMYON 18 Festival", a one-time miracle stage performance for 18-year-olds across the country!

"18 Festival" is a one-off performance event where artists listen to the various thoughts of 18-year-olds, create new songs, and then perform the songs together with 1,000 18-year-olds. This year will be the 5th time the event has been held, and this time AIMYON will be creating a stage together with the 18-year-old generation.

The theme of "AIMYON 18 Festival" is "Joy, Anger, Sorrow and Happiness."

We are calling for videos filled with the passionate emotions of 18-year-olds from all over Japan, and AIMYON will create a song based on those emotions. We aim to create a one-off miracle stage performance by 1,000 18-year-olds who pass the selection process and AIMYON.

This event will be broadcast on NHK General TV at a later date (broadcast date TBA).

AIMYON comment

From the day I was asked if I would like to do 18sai, I couldn't help but worry about whether I was the right person for the job, but my desire to sing with 1,000 people of the 18th generation just kept growing.

We weren't able to hold the festival last year, so this time we're holding it with 1,000 people aged 17, 18, 19 and 20.

I want to create an unforgettable day.
